Book of Poems Launched

A book entitled ‘Language of Poems’ was launched on December 27th at the Amba Soira Hotel in the Asmara.

Asmara, 29 December 2015 – A book entitled ‘Language of Poems’ was launched on December 27th at the Amba Soira Hotel in the Asmara.  The book consists of 108 collected poems in Tigrigna; most of which are laced with romantic and political undertones.

During the inauguration ceremony, the author of the book, Mr. Teklay Eya’ab, underlined that the central purpose of any art work is to enrich and provoke public discourse  contribute to the society, the environment and the world at large. He also said that art broadens people’s common understanding thus nurturing the orbit of global beauty at a point.

Likewise, a number of artists and authors have made comments on the context of the book. Some poems of the book were premiered on the occasion as tip of the day.
