Eritrean community members in Frankfurt and Nuremberg, Germany, held public meetings on the current situation and developments in the homeland.
Asmara, 23 January 2016 – Eritrean community members in Frankfurt and Nuremberg, Germany, held public meetings on the current situation and developments in the homeland.
In the meeting held in Frankfurt on 17 January, the Eritrean Embassy Charge d’Affairs, Mr. Yohannes Woldu gave extensive briefings on the significance of the redemption of the new Nakfa currency notes. He also said that Eritrea is registering commendable economic development thanks to the strong resilience and commitment of the Eritrean people and government.
He further said that the formation of the national committees in the different cities in Germany is at its stage of finalization and expressed appreciation for the preparations to celebrate the Jubilee anniversary of Independence Day.
Similarly the head of Public and Community affairs at the Eritrean Embassy, Mr. Tewodros Goitom said that strengthening organization and unity are essential for building a developed country and ensuring social justice.
Likewise the residents of Nuremburg and its environs commended the multifaceted development programs in the homeland and expressed readiness to live up to expectations.
