Meeting on Educational Experiences

The Ministry of Education branch offices in the sub-zones of Gelalo and Massawa conducted a seminar aimed at exchanging experiences for strengthening the teaching and learning process. Asmara, March 5 2016 – The Ministry of Education branch offices in the sub-zones of Gelalo and Massawa conducted a seminar aimed at exchanging experiences for strengthening the teaching and learning process.

The seminar, attended by over 80 participants, featured a range of presentations, including reports on the teaching and learning process, challenges and solutions, relationships between parents, students and teachers, and future plans of action.

The participants also engaged in extensive discussions on encouraging youth interest in education, increasing female school enrollments, enhancing teachers’ capacity, and strengthening the competence of school directors and supervisors.

Additionally, the administrators of both sub-zones expressed commitment to implementing the proposed programs.

Within the Gelalo and Massawa sub-zones there are a total of 5 kindergartens, 40 primary, 11 junior, and 4 secondary schools, 40 educational centers, and 1 evening school.
