An assessment meeting regarding the educational activities and school enrollment of female students was conducted in Aqordet.

Aqordet, 19 April 2016- An assessment meeting regarding the educational activities and school enrollment of female students was conducted in Aqordet.

At the meeting in which area administrators, school directors and representatives of government institutions and association attended, the head of the MOE branch in the sub-zone Mr. Abdalla Omar Karam said that educational opportunities are there for all in the sub-zone and yet the public is not using the opportunity as expected.

The head of the MOE branch in the Gash Barka region, Mr. Mohammed Ali Ibrahim said that the commendable achievements registered in the education sector are the result of the community based investment conducted and called on the sustainability of the efforts.

The work manager of the region, Mr. Ismail Abdalla pointed out that the educational institutions are under the ownership of the public and called on the public to ensure their sustainability and encourage their children to go to school.
