Training on Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management

The Ministry of Health is providing 25 of its members training on Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management.

 

Asmara, 10 May 2016- The Ministry of Health is providing 25 of its members training on Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management. The training program commenced on 6 May and will continue until 13 of May.

The training program was organized in partnership with the MOH and Serenus Biotherapeutics. The training will focus on monitoring and registering the capacity of medicines produced inside the country and abroad.

The Director of the National Medicine and Food Administration at the MOH, Mr. Eyasu Bahta indicated that the training program is aimed at developing the human capacity for ensuring the supply of effective medicines as well as creating a system of harmonization Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management.

Health professionals from the National Medicine and Food Administration, “Azel” Pharmaceutical plant and PHARMICOR as well as Asmara College of Health are participating in the training.
