Marathon and mass sport to be held

Marathon and mass sport in connection with the Silver Jubilee Independence Day will be held on 15 May 2016 in Asmara. The event is organized by the National Athletics Federation in cooperation with National Holidays Coordinating Committee.

Asmara, 12 May 2016- Marathon and mass sport in connection with the Silver Jubilee Independence Day will be held on 15 May 2016 in Asmara. The event is organized by the National Athletics Federation in cooperation with National Holidays Coordinating Committee.

The Commission of Culture and Sports indicated that the mass sport will start at 8 o’clock from Harenet Avenue and will end at the same venue passing through the big roads of Asmara.

Participation at the mass sport is open to people of all walks of life, age and gender.
