Workshop on Institutional cooperation

The Eritrean Center of Institutional Excellence in partnership with the Halhale College of Business and Economics conducted a workshop on 10 May aimed at reinforcing the cooperation between the two institutions.

Asmara, 12 May 2016 :- The Eritrean Center of Institutional Excellence in partnership with the Halhale College of Business and Economics conducted a workshop on 10 May aimed at reinforcing the cooperation between the two institutions.

The objective of the workshop was to augment integrated efforts in the human capacity development, consultancy services, research and training.

In a speech he delivered at the workshop Mr. Taddese Beyene, Projects Coordinator at the Center for Institutional Excellence, said that since the two institutions are engaged in similar activities they could play complementary role in the nation building process.

Dr. Estifanos Hailemariam, Dean of the College of Business and Economics, on this part highlighted the Halhale College of Business and Economics is playing in the human resources development and the significance of the integrated efforts of the two institutions.

Prof. Abrham Kidane, economic consultant at the Ministry of National Development, on his part said that the integrated activities between the two institutions with regards the provision of consultancy services, training and research would have high contribution in the realization of institutional excellence.

The two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding and drafted a 5 year work plan.
