Foreign cultural and music groups to participate in Independence Day celebrations

The National Holidays Coordinating Committee indicated that 12 foreign cultural and music groups will participate at the Silver Jubilee Independence Day celebrations.

Asmara, 16 May 2016- The National Holidays Coordinating Committee indicated that 12 foreign cultural and music groups will participate at the Silver Jubilee Independence Day celebrations.

The cultural and music groups are from Uganda, Turkey, Republic of Sudan, Egypt, Germany, Latin America, South Africa, Republic of South Sudan, the US and China. The groups include a total of 189 members.

Some of the cultural and music groups have previously participated in the Independence Day celebration and many are participating for the first time.

Some of the groups have already started performing in different cinema halls.
