Messages of congratulations

The leaders of the Republic of South Sudan, Croatia and Mexico send messages of congratulations to the Government and people of Eritrea in connection with the Silver jubilee Independence Day anniversary.

Asmara, 17 May 2016- The leaders of the Republic of South Sudan, Croatia and Mexico send messages of congratulations to the Government and people of Eritrea in connection with the Silver jubilee Independence Day anniversary.

In their messages the leaders wished good health to President Isaias Afwerki and peace and prosperity to the Eritrean people.

In his message, the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Mr. Salva Kiir Mayardit expressed his firm conviction that the warm and friendly relations that existed between Eritrea and the Republic of South Sudan will continue to further develop in all spheres for the mutual benefit of the two countries.

The President of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic expressed hope for the further strengthening and deepening of the existing bilateral relations between his country and Eritrea.

Similarly, the President of Mexico, Mr. Enrique Pena Nieto wished the Government and people of Eritrea a happy Independence Day celebrations and expressed readiness for strengthening the bilateral relations of his country with Eritrea.
