A photo exhibition organized by the Japanese Photo journalist, Mr. Tomoaki Nakano, in connection with the Silver Jubilee Independence Day anniversary was opened on 19 May at the Casa Deli Italiani under the theme “Memories of Referendum and Feelings of Independence”.
Asmara, 20 May 2016 – A photo exhibition organized by the Japanese Photo journalist, Mr. Tomoaki Nakano, in connection with the Silver Jubilee Independence Day anniversary was opened on 19 May at the Casa Deli Italiani under the theme “Memories of Referendum and Feelings of Independence”.
The exhibition was officially opened by Gen. Sebhat Efrem, Minister of Energy and Mining. It depicts the political activities and the participation of the public at the time of independence as well as the ensuing development endeavors.
Mr. Tomoaki said that the emotions and feelings he observed at the time of independence were unique and expressed satisfaction for being able to organize the exhibition in connection with Eritrea’s Silver Jubilee Independence Day celebrations.
Mr. Tomoaki Nakano has visited Eritrea more than 20 times covering the culture and traditions of the Eritrean people.
