NUEW conducts seminar

The National Union of Eritrean Women conducted seminar for its members residing abroad and who are here to participate at the Silver Jubilee Independence Day.

Asmara, 26 May 2016- The National Union of Eritrean Women conducted seminar for its members residing abroad and who are here to participate at the Silver Jubilee Independence Day. The seminar focused on the current situation in the homeland and the role of citizens in preserving the national unity and harmony.

At the seminar conducted at the central office of the union, Mr. Ahferom Tewodle from the PFDJ gave extensive briefing on the conspiracies, objective and consequences in the name of religion.

He underlined that every citizen should be vigilant and aware on the conspiracies that are targeted against Eritrea to disrupt the unity and harmony of the people in the name of religion.

The President of the NUEW, Ms. Tekea Tesfamicael on her part underscored that as part of the Eritrean community the Eritrean women in the Diaspora should reinforce their struggle against sub nationalist sentiments.
