Eritreans from Abroad visit to historic and Tourism sites

The Eritreans residing in the Diaspora and who are here to participate in the Jubilee Independence Day anniversary have made tours to historical and tourism sites in the Northern Red Sea region from 25 to 27 May.

Asmara, 31 May 2016 – The Eritreans residing in the Diaspora and who are here to participate in the Jubilee Independence Day anniversary have made tours to historical and tourism sites in the Northern Red Sea region from 25 to 27 May.

The tour participants include nationals who came from Sudan, the Netherlands, Germany, Saudi Arabia, UK, Australia, USA, Sweden and Canada.

In the course of their visit to Hirgigo power plant, Adulis historical and ancient archeological site, Sahaba Mosque, Gedem Cement Factory, the Massawa Free Zone, the Massawa Museum as well as the Massawa Port and the Airport they were provided briefings by the officials of each sector.

The MLHW branch has extended Nakfa 42 million monetary assistance to the families of the fallen heroes, gave 20 million interest free loan to 841 war veterans and provided various in kind assistance to disabled students so as to encourage them peruse their education at ease.

Mr. Ghirmay finally said that the branch has been providing artificial limps, wheelchairs and crunches to disabled nationals who came from Gash-Barka and Northern Red Sea regions.
