Administrator held talks with senior delegation of Kassala region

The Governor of the Central region, Maj. Gen. Romodan Osman Awleyay, received and held talks on 30 May with senior delegation of the Kassala region led by the administrator of the region, Mr. Adem Jema’e.

Asmara, 01 June 2016- The Governor of the Central region, Maj. Gen. Romodan Osman Awleyay, received and held talks on 30 May with senior delegation of the Kassala region led by the administrator of the region, Mr. Adem Jema’e.

In their meeting, the two administrators discussed on issues related to the existing strong relations between the two regions and on ways and means for further strengthening the mutual cooperation.

Highlighting the historic and people to people relations between Eritrea and Sudan, the administrators discussed on issues of interest to both sides.

The delegation of the Kassala region has also conveyed message of congratulations to the people and Government of Eritrea in connection with the Silver Jubilee Independence Day Anniversary.

Mr. Yosief Sayik, Secretary of the PFDJ in the Central region, and other officials were present at the meeting.
