Keren, 01 June 2016- 100 youth in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone have been trained in different disciplines.
The 7 months long training program included wood and metal works, video shooting, painting as well as beauty salon.
At the graduation ceremony held on 29 May, Mr. Azazi Bereketab, head of NUEYS’ branch in the Anseba region, stated that the branch office along with other stockholders has been making concerted efforts to equip the youth with varied skills so as to enable them lead a meaningful life.
Ms. Helen Teweldebrhan, Head of NUEYS branch in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone, on her part assured the trainees that the union would diligently work to assist them in every effort they make to upgrade their skills and improve their living standards.
Pointing out that equipping youth with different knowledge and skills means building a nation, Mr. Solomon Haile, Administrator of the sub-zone, said that such training programs need to be sustainably conducted and the trainees need to make effective use of the opportunities they are provided with.
