Training on basic journalism

21 newly assigned members of the Ministry of Information were provided training on basic journalism.

Asmara, 02 June 2016 – 21 newly assigned members of the Ministry of Information were provided training on basic journalism.

Ms. Tsegereda Fisha, from the Human Resources Development, indicated that the training included theoretical and practical training in journalistic ethics, information gathering, news and article writing, as well as procedures of conducting interviews.

At the graduation ceremony held today, 02 June, the D.G. of the Department of Radio, Mr. Girmai Berhe called on the trainees to develop the training they received through practice.

The representative of the trainees expressed readiness to live up to expectations.

Mr. Russom Fesehaie, Director of the Administration and Finance in the Ministry handed over certificates to the graduates.
