Eritrean nationals living in USA, Germany and the Netherlands have donated a total of 5,500 Euros and 5,000 US dollars towards augmenting the Martyrs Trust Fund and supporting the National Association of Children with Autism and Downs Syndrome.
Asmara, 7 June 2016 – Eritrean nationals living in USA, Germany and the Netherlands have donated a total of 5,500 Euros and 5,000 US dollars towards augmenting the Martyrs Trust Fund and supporting the National Association of Children with Autism and Downs Syndrome.
The Chairman of the National Association of Children with Autism and Downs Syndrome, Mr. Berhane Bokhretzion, indicated that supporting nationals with disabilities is a noble Eritrean culture and that the donations made in support of the development of the Association is not to be viewed lightly.
Upon handing the donation, Mr. Michael Solomon and Ms. Tsehay Gebrezgabiher said that the money was raised by concerned nationals residing in Germany and the Netherlands, and reassured that such support will continue.
Moreover, members of the Eritrean Martyrs Trust Association in Cincinnati, USA, and the PFDJ Group in Nuremberg, Germany, donated 5,000 US dollars and 2,000 Euros respectively towards augmenting the Martyrs Trust Fund.
