Ginda, 15 June 2016 – Residents of Ginda town are conducting popular campaign aimed at controlling the prevalence of malaria. The campaign includes clearing areas that are believed to be conducive for mosquito breeding.
The Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Omar Iahia, said that the residents are conducting the popular campaign twice a week and that has been ongoing for four months.
Amid heavy rainfall in the sub-zone, prevalence of malaria might occur. However with the preventive majors and awareness raising programs underway, it has been contained.
