Contribution towards martyrs’ trust

Eritreans residing in different countries expressed conviction to enhance their contribution towards martyrs’ trust.

Asmara, 30 June 2016- Eritreans residing in different countries expressed conviction to enhance their contribution towards martyrs’ trust. They made the pledge during a candle vigil ceremony they conducted in connection with Martyrs Day, 20 June.

Eritreans residing in the Netherland cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Zwolle and Amersfoort contributed 5,823 Euros.

The residents in the Australian cities of Sydney and Brisbane contributed 1,580 and 1,115 Australian Dollars respectively while the NUEW branch in Sydney contributed 531 Australian Dollars.

Likewise, Eritrean nationals residing in the New Zealand cities of Auckland, Christ Church and Wellington contributed 1430 NZ Dollars and pledged to assume responsibility for 19 families of martyrs.

Eritreans residing in the cities of Italy also expressed conviction to enhance contribution towards augmenting the martyrs trust.
