MOE branch office in Dubarwa conducts assessment meeting

The Ministry of Education branch office in Dubaruwa sub-zone has conducted an assessment meeting on 10 July with regards the 2015/2016 school calendar activities.

Mendefera, 11 July 2016- The Ministry of Education branch office in Dubaruwa sub-zone has conducted an assessment meeting on 10 July with regards the 2015/2016 school calendar activities.

At the meeting reports were presented on implemented educational programs, cultural and sports activities, laboratory and library supplies, information technology as well as financial reports.

The head of the MOE branch in the sub-zone, Mr. Russom Gebrehiwet indicated that out of the 22 thousand students enrolled in schools 83.7% of them have passed to the next level.

The managing director of the sub-zone, Mr. Teklemeriam Gebreyesus on his part explained on the importance of reinforcing the tripartite relationships between parents, teachers and students for the success of the teaching learning process.

In the Dubaruwa sub-zone there are currently 28 schools ranging from junior to high school.
