Teaching and learning process improving in the Mendefera sub-zone

The head of the MOE branch in Mendefera sub-zone, Mr. Gerezgiher Tewolde indicated that the teaching and learning process in the sub-zone is improving.

Mendefera, 18 July 2016- The head of the MOE branch in Mendefera sub-zone, Mr. Gerezgiher Tewolde indicated that the teaching and learning process in the sub-zone is improving.

He made the comment at and assessment meeting conducted in Mendefera.

He also said that the student’s school enrolment in general and that of female students in particular is on the rise and called on parents to encourage their children to go to school.

According to Mr. Gerezgiher, 87% from elementary, 75% from junior and 57% high school students have passed to the higher level of education and that comparing with last year relative improvement has been witnessed.

The administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Abraham Hagos called on the parents to reinforce the tripartite relations and play due role for the success educational activities.
