Keren, 10 October 2017- The residents of Tinsheai administrative are, Mensura sub-zone, are taking initiatives with a view to conserve wild life and forests.
According to Mr. Hans Iyasu, administrator of the area, in addition to the activities conducted by the ministry of Agriculture in forest and wildlife conservation, residents have introduced laws and regulations to conserve forestry and wild life in their areas.
Mr. Hans indicated that the residents of the administrative area are conducting regular meetings in a bid to oversee that the public is abiding by the regulation and that the wildlife and forests are safe from illegal hunting and cutting.
Members of The Ministry of Agriculture in the area commending the initiative taken by the residents called for tougher measures to those that violate the regulation.
Tinsheai is one of the 10 administrative areas in Mensura sub zone, greatly contributing to the forest and wildlife conservation activities in the area.
