Elections of area administrators and magistrates

Election of area administrators and magistrates was recently held in three administrative areas of Mai-Mine sub-zone.

Mendefera, 13 October 2017- Election of area administrators and magistrates was recently held in three administrative areas of Mai-Mine sub-zone.

The objective of elections that was held in the administrative areas of Debremariam, Adi-Golgol and Adi-Shimtombosa was to replace the existed administrators that finished their terms and to establish magisterial court in Adi-Atsida administration area.

The managing director at the sub-zone, Mr. Kidane Fruy said that effective administration has significant contribution in ensuring sustainable development and called on the newly elected to live up to expectations to the people that elected them.

The newly elected on their part expressed resolve to diligently serve the people that elected them.

The administrative areas of Debremariam, Adi-Golgol and Adi-Shimtombosa comprise 26 villages.
