Election of Area Administrators

An election of administrators and managing directors is being conducted in the 13 sub-zones of Asmara.

Asmara, 16 October 2017- An election of administrators and managing directors is being conducted in the 13 sub-zones of Asmara.

According to a report, the outgoing area administrators presented activity report to their constituents during a meeting conducted in their respective areas on 14 and 15 October.

The managing director of the Central region, Mr. Zerit Teweldebrhan indicated that all administrative areas within the city of Asmara are electing area administrators and managing directors while the administrative areas of Adi Nefas, Dirfo, Adi Segido, and Adi Abeyto will include village coordinators. Mr. Zerit also called on the newly elected to diligently serve the people that elected them.

It is to be recalled that previously 90 administrators and 245 village coordinators including74 females were elected in Serejaka, Berik and Gala Nefhi subzones.
