Keren, 28 December 2017 – Election of area administrators and village coordinators was conducted in Halhal sub zone.

At the election in which praiseworthy participation of female was registered, the administrator of the Halhal sub zone, Mr. Mahmud Ibrahim stated that the increased participation and competition of women in the election process was an indication of the enhanced awareness and developed culture being inculcated in the society.
