Commendable youth empowering trainings

Commendable youth empowering trainings were conducted in the Northern red Sea and Gash Barka regions, youth organizations in both regions reported.

Massawa/Barentu, 05 January 2018 – Commendable youth empowering trainings were conducted in the Northern Red Sea and Gash Barka regions, youth organizations in both regions reported.

In a meeting the youth organizations conducted in their respective regions, it was stated that the trainings provided to youth were aimed at enhancing the professional and political awareness of the youth, and that various workshops were organized to students and youth civil servants.

Head of the Youth association in the Northern Red Sea region Mr. Idris Osman indicated that this New Year, vocational trainings provided to youth will be enhanced and that to increase the economic capacity of the youth a micro credit opportunities will be provided and reminded stakeholders to enhance their contribution in the success of chartered out programs.

Head of the NUEYS’ Central Office Mr. Okubai Berhe on his part stated that to build a youth well equipped with knowledge and skills an integrated work of governmental institutions and front as well as an enhanced participation of the youth is paramount.

In the Gash Barka region, Head of Politics and organization in the Gash Barka Youth branch, Mr. Marikos Ghirmatsion on his part stated that the program initiated to expand youth organization to the level of administrative areas will be extensively implemented.

Secretary of PFDJ branch in the Gash Barka region, Mr. Rezene Adonai on his part said that an enhanced effort should be exerted on increasing organizational capacity and the creation of youth centers to increase the role and contribution of the youth in all national drives.
