Barentu, 27 January 2018- The Logo-Anseba sub-zone reported that commendable development programs have been implemented through the integrated effort of the residents.
Indicating that the strong participation of the residents has been instrumental in the successful implementation of the development programs, the managing director of the sub-zone, Mr. Melake Gebrehiwet said that the potable water project and clinic put in place in Deki-Zeru at a cost of about 1.3 million Nakfa attests to the efforts made.
The Secretary of the PFDJ in the sub-zone, Mr. Berhane Tsegai pointed out that the residents and civil servants in the sub-zone have contributed 53 thousand Nakfa in support of families of martyrs and material support to the residents of Adi-Emni who lost their property due to fire.
Mr. Issac Tium, administrator of the sub-zone, gave briefing on the activities implemented by the sub-zonal administration in providing timely administration service to the residents and in mobilizing the public in various popular campaigns including soil and water conservation and environmental sanitation.
Mr. Issac also gave answer to the questions raised by the participants regarding the master plans of the villages of Liban, Habela, Mekerka and Adi-Neamin.
