Asmara, 17 February 2018 – Eritrean nationals in Germany, the United States and Italy carried out various activities that consolidate attachment with their homeland.
The Eritrean nationals residing in Stuttgart, Germany, held a seminar focusing on the significance of festivals in preserving the noble national values as well as the implementation of the set out programs.
Speaking at the event, the Charge d’Affairs at the Eritrean Embassy, Mr. Yohannes Woldu, gave briefing on the current diplomatic effort being made and the progress registered.
Mr. Kahsai Tewolde, Head of Public and Community Relations, also explained the importance of organizing seminars in raising the awareness of citizens on national issues and strengthening organizational capacity.
In the same vein, the Eritrean national associations in the United States cities of Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Offing County, Phoenix, Denver, and Las Vegas conducted annual meeting.
Ms. Hadinet Keleta from the Eritrean Embassy gave briefing on the progress of the national development programs and effort being made to ensure social justice.
The Committee of Eritreans and Americans in Oakland also organized a seminar focusing on investment. At the seminar, discussions were conducted on the importance of the benefit of investing in the homeland.
Likewise, the Eritrean nationals and friends of Eritrea in the Italian cities of Rome, Milan, Bologna, Parma, Firenze, Pizza, Napoli, Catania and Bari organized events in connection with the 28th Anniversary of Operation Fenkil.
