Support to martyrs trust fund

At an event conducted in connection with Martyrs Day, Eritrean nationals residing in various cities of Italy and Canada contributed around 30 thousand Euro and 12,571 Dollars towards augmenting martyrs trust fund.

Asmara, 07 July 2018- At an event conducted in connection with Martyrs Day, Eritrean nationals residing in various cities of Italy and Canada contributed around 30 thousand Euro and 12,571 Dollars towards augmenting martyrs trust fund.

Indicating the supporting families of martyrs is the responsibility of every citizen, the Office of Eritrean General Council in Milano reported that the nationals residing in Rome, Milano, Bologna, Firenze, Napoli, Catania, Genoa, Bari, Brescia, Pizza and Parma contributed 29,825 Euro and 100 Swiss Franc.

Likewise, Eritrean women in Milano grouped in “Hilina Association” in accordance with the pledge they made to assist 10 families of martyrs contributed 6 thousand Euros.

In related news, Eritrean nationals in Toronto, Canada, at an event they conducted in connection with June 20, Martyrs Day contributed 8,287 Dollars while Selam Haile and her brothers and Mr. Mihreteab Samuel contributed 4,283 Dollars towards augmenting the martyrs’ trust fund.
