Eritrean nationals residing in the Netherlands held annual festival from 6 to 8 July in the city of Rotterdam under the theme “Vision through Toil”.
Asmara, 10 July 2018- Eritrean nationals residing in the Netherlands held annual festival from 6 to 8 July in the city of Rotterdam under the theme “Vision through Toil”.
The annual festival that was officially opened by Mr. Negasi Kasa, Eritrean Ambassador to the European Union, featured seminar on the contribution of Eritrean nationals in the Diaspora as well as cultural and artistic performances.
Indicating that the annual festival of Eritreans is a forum in which the nationals consolidate their unity and transfer the noble national and societal values to the young generation, Mr. Solomon Mehari, Eritrean Consul in the Netherlands, said that the annual festival has been conducted at a time Eritrea is embarking to a promising future.
Mr. Solomon reiterated that the vision of the Government and Eritrean people is to build economically developed country and called on the nationals to develop their economic and professional capacity and contribution in the national development drives.
The festival was highlighted by the “Bisha” cultural troupe from Eritrea and Eritrean musicians in Holland.
