Potable water project in Zawul

Potable water project worth 1.2 million Nakfa has been put in place in Zawul, Dubaruwa sub-zone.

Mendefera, 25 September 2018- Potable water project worth 1.2 million Nakfa has been put in place in Zawul, Dubaruwa sub-zone.

The project included 43 meters of water wells, 3 km water pipe line, 4 water distribution centers as well as putting in place generators and water pumps.

Indicating that the project was implemented in cooperation with the Zawul residents and Adi-Halo government units, the coordinators of the project said that the project is expected to alleviate the water shortage problem in the area.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Frewengiel Teklehaimanot congratulating the residents that have been expecting for long for the realization of the project, called for proper water management for the sustainability of the project.

The residents on their part expressed appreciation for those who participated in the project and expressed readiness to keep its sustainability.
