Meeting on preserving natural resources

The administrator of Gelalo sub-zone, Northern Red Sea region, Mr. Mahmud Ibrahim conducted a meeting with the residents of the sub-zone focusing on preserving and judicious usage of natural resources.

Massawa, 30 October 2018- The administrator of Gelalo sub-zone, Northern Red Sea region, Mr. Mahmud Ibrahim conducted a meeting with the residents of the sub-zone focusing on preserving and judicious usage of natural resources.

Mr. Mahmud called on the resident to keep up the good culture of preserving forestry and marine resources that have been practiced by the residents for long period of time and transfer to generations.

Explaining of the progress of the implementation of the charted out development drives, Mr. Mahmud called on the public to proper use the social service provision institutions put in place in the sub-zone and strengthen participation in the implementation of the projects.

The residents called for alleviating the shortage of health practitioner, upgrade the elementary school to junior high school as well as for providing due attention for the existing transportation problem in the sub-zone.
