Elections of area administrators, managing directors and village coordinators

Elections of area administrators, managing directors and village coordinators has been conducted in 37 villages clustered in 9 administrative areas in Araeta sub zone, Southern Red Sea region.

Assab, 12 December 2018 – Elections of area administrators, managing directors and village coordinators has been conducted in 37 villages clustered in 9 administrative areas in Araeta sub zone, Southern Red Sea region.

Speaking to Erina, Mr. Mahmud Abdela, managing director of Araeta sub zone, said that rigorous campaigns have been conducted prior to the elections with the view to raise the awareness of residents on the process and successful implementation of the elections, indicated that training on administration will be provided to the newly elected area administrators, managing directors and village coordinators.

The residents on their part expressed readiness to support the newly elected to accomplish their tasks with whole heartedness and accountability.

In related news, reports indicate that elections of area administrators, managing directors and village coordinators were held in 25 villages clustered in 7 administrative areas in Central Denkel subzone.
