Sawa, 08 January 2018 – Capacity upgrading training was organized for teachers at the Warsay Yekealo Secondary School.
According to Mr. Mehreteab Gebresillassie, coordinator of the four day training, the objective of the training was to narrow the gap of knowledge and experience among teachers and reinforce the teaching and learning process.
The training included time and program management, lesson planning, class management and its contribution, creating conducive teaching learning atmosphere in class, as well as preparation of exams for evaluating the standard and capacity of students.
The trainees discussed on the topics raised and called for the sustained organization of similar trainings.
In related news, in a meeting conducted with teachers of Warsay Yekealo Secondary School on 4 January, Col. Debesai Ghide, Commander of the National Service Training Center, called on the teachers to take advantage of the opportunity the new era of peace prospect and shoulder professional responsibility and live up to expectations.
