President Isaias met and held talks with Mr. Neven Mimica

President Isaias Afwerki to day, 8 February met and held talks with Mr. Neven Mimica, EU Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development.

Asmara, 08 February 2019- President Isaias Afwerki to day, 8 February met and held talks with Mr. Neven Mimica, EU Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development.

President Isaias and Mr. Neven discussed on the cooperation ties between Eritrea and the EU within the framework of the recent peace and cooperation unfolding in the Horn of Africa and especially between Eritrea and Ethiopia.

The European Union indicated that it will allocate 20 million Euros for the upgrading and renovating of roads in its first phase of infrastructural support programs in Eritrea to enhance regional connectivity and trade.
