Commendable health service provision

Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, head of the health facilities in the Central Dankalia, reported that the health facilities in the sub-zone are providing commendable health service to the society.

Assab, 30 April 2019- Mr. Ahmed Mohammed, head of the health facilities in the Central Dankalia, reported that the health facilities in the sub-zone are providing commendable health service to the society.

Indicating that in pre-independence time there were no health facilities in the area and people were compelled to travel long distance to get health service, Mr. Ahmed said that currently there are one community hospital and two health centers providing health service to the residents.

According to Mr. Ahmed the health facilities are providing delivery service, pre and post natal treatment, regular vaccination programs, encouraging people to conduct regular environmental sanitation activities as well other programs aimed at ensuring the health of the public.

Mr. Ahmed also called on the public to follow the advices by health professionals in keeping their environment clean and other activities related to their health.
