New archeological site discovered in Senafe

The Commission of Culture and Sports reported that a new archeological site of ancient historical artifacts and rock paintings has been discovered at Embeito and Una-Zala, Senafe sub-zone.

Senafe, 17 May 2019- The Commission of Culture and Sports reported that a new archeological site of ancient historical artifacts and rock paintings has been discovered at Embeito and Una-Zala, Senafe sub-zone.

The report further indicated that archeologists and other experts in the field are conducted thorough research and study by consulting the residents of the areas to determine the status and condition of the findings.

They also called on the residents to strengthen participation in providing the necessary information on the sites and preserve the areas from damage until the research is finalized and take measure of preservation by the concerned institutions.

The residents on their part expressed readiness to contributed their part in the research and study and keep the areas from outside elements that could endanger the safety of the findings.
