Eritrean nationals residing in Belgium, Norway, the US and Zambia have enthusiastically celebrated the 28th Independence Day anniversary under the theme “Resilience for Higher Progress”.
Asmara, 31 May 2019- Eritrean nationals residing in Belgium, Norway, the US and Zambia have enthusiastically celebrated the 28th Independence Day anniversary under the theme “Resilience for Higher Progress”.
At the celebratory event the nationals in Brussels commending for the significant development achievements Eritrea has so far registered expressed readiness to play due part in the implementation of the national development programs.
Indicating that the new era of peace and cooperation unfolding in the Horn of Africa is mainly the result of the perseverance and sacrifice of the Eritrean people, Mr. Negassi Kassa, Eritrean Ambassador to the European Union, said that strong effort will be exerted to substantiate the achievement registered with public diplomacy activities.
Likewise, the nationals in Trondheim, Norway, celebrated the 28th Independence Day anniversary featuring various activities portraying their attachment with their homeland and expressing their commitment to contribute in the success of the national development drives.
In the same vein, nationals in the US cities of Tennessee, Nashville, and Phoenix celebrated Independence Day anniversary with patriotic zeal.
The event was highlighted with artistic and cultural programs.
The nationals in Zambia also celebrated the 28th Independence Day anniversary with various programs featuring their unity and attachment with their homeland.
