Extensive popular campaign

Extensive water and soil conservation as well as dirt road renovation activities is being conducted in May-Aini sub zone involving civil servants, students and residents.

Mendefera, 07 June 2019 – Extensive water and soil conservation as well as dirt road renovation activities is being conducted in May-Aini sub zone involving civil servants, students and residents.

The popular campaign that is being conducted since March includes renovation of dirt road linking May-Aini to Quatit as well as water diversion schemes.

Indicating that transportation has resumed in the area thanks to the popular campaign, residents called for sustainably alleviating the transportation challenges in the area pointing out the socio-economic significance of the dirt road.

In other news, popular campaign was conducted in the premises of the martyrs’ cemetery in May-Dima, in connection to 20 June Martyrs’ Day.
