According to report, members of the PFDJ organization in France have organized their first congress on 29 June in the city of Nantes.
At the congress in which Mr. Sileshi Idris, head of Public and Community Affairs in Switzerland, and representatives of PFDJ organizations from the French cities of Nantes, Angers, Rennes, Metz and Paris took part, Ms. Hanna Simon, Eritrean Ambassador to France, said that strong effort has been exerted to strengthen the organizational capacity of citizens residing in France and called for strengthening participation.
At the event, Ms. Yordanos Tekle, head of the National Union of Eritrean Women branch in France, gave briefing on the activities conducted in all cities aimed at strengthening organizational capacity.
In the same vein, Mr. Yohannes Teklemicael, Eritrean Ambassador to South Sudan, conducted seminar on 30 June focusing on the progress of the peace agreement signed between Eritrea and Ethiopia as well as the lifting of the illegal sanctions that has been imposed on Eritrea.
Ambassador Yohannes also called on the nationals to strengthen organizational capacity and participation in the national development drives.
The Charge d’Affairs at the Eritrean Embassy in Kuwait, Mr. Humed Yahya also conducted seminar to Eritrean nationals in Kuwait.
Indicating that in the past 28 years of independence commendable achievements have been registered in the sectors of education, health and agricultural infrastructure including water and soil conservation, Mr. Humed said that Eritrea to date thanks to the unity and perseverance of its people is in a reliable situation.
Likewise, at a seminar the National Union of Eritrean Women branch conducted on 30 June in Melbourne, Australia, Ms. Freweini Gebremicael, chairman of the union, said that the union has conducted praiseworthy activities in contributing to the national development program as well as assisting families of martyrs.
In related news, the Eritrean Embassy in Abu Dhabi also staged program depicting the cultural diversity and tradition of the Eritrean people at the ceremony organized in Abu Dhabi in connection with the 56th “Africa Day” in which over 30 Embassies took part.
