Exemplary teachers awarded in Gala-Nefhi

The Ministry of Education branch in Gala-Nefhi sub-zone awarded exemplary teachers, supervisors and school directors.

Asmara, 12 July 2019- The Ministry of Education branch in Gala-Nefhi sub-zone awarded exemplary teachers, supervisors and school directors.

At the ceremony organized on 11 July at the Ibrahim Sultan Secondary School, financial and material award was provided to 51 teachers including 18 females for outstanding contribution in the teaching-learning process in 2018/2019 school year.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tedros Abraham, head of the Ministry of Education branch in the sub-zone, said that objective of the award was to encourage outstanding teachers and create positive competition and there by contribute in the development of teaching-learning process.

Indicating that teaching shoulders heavy responsibility in nurturing competent future generations, the awardees called for the sustainability of the award.
