Students from Southern region leave for Sawa

Students from 28 high schools in the 12 sub-zones of the Southern region have left for Sawa today, 17 August to continue their grade 12 education at the Warsai-Yikealo School in Sawa and to attend the 33rd round of the national service.

 

Asmara, 17 August 2019- Students from 28 high schools in the 12 sub-zones of the Southern region have left for Sawa today, 17 August to continue their grade 12 education at the Warsai-Yikealo School in Sawa and to attend the 33rd round of the national service.

The students expressed that they are physically and psychologically ready for the new lifestyle in Sawa and confidence that during their stay in Sawa they will work hard to prepare themselves for the national school leaving examination and continue their higher education.

The 11 grade students from the Northern and Southern Red, Anseba and Gash Barka regions have already left for Sawa to pursue their 12 grade education at the Warsai-Yikealo Secondary School.
According to the Ministry of Education, students from the Central region are scheduled to leave on 21 and 24 August.

The coordinators of the program indicated that, the spirit and enthusiasm witnessed among the students during their departure attests to their readiness to live up to the expectation of their country and people.
