Meeting on implementation of development programs

The Governor of the Anseba region, Mr. Ali Mahumd conducted a meeting with residents of Habero sub-zone on the implementation of development programs.

Keren, 15 October 2019- The Governor of the Anseba region, Mr. Ali Mahumd conducted a meeting with residents of Habero sub-zone on the implementation of development programs. At the meeting, Mr. Ali Mahmud underlining that village regrouping has significant contribution in the stable lives of residents, called for reinforced contribution to that effect with a view to enable residents become beneficiaries of social service provision.

Mr. Ali Mahmud also called on the residents to strengthen organizational capacity and conduct community based water and soil conservation activities, renovation of roads as well as in the preservation of forests and wildlife.

As regards the problem of communication existing in the sub-zone, Mr. Ali said that the problem will be solved in due time. He also called for reinforced contribution in the conservation of cultural and historical heritage.

The administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Fitwi Gebremeskel on his part called on the residents to judicially use the social service provision institutions put in place and send their school aged children to school.
