President Isaias Afwerki departed to Ethiopia

President Isaias Afwerki in the morning hours of today departed to Ethiopia at an invitation of Dr. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

Asmara, 25 December 2019- President Isaias Afwerki in the morning hours of today departed to Ethiopia at an invitation of Dr. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

During his stay in Ethiopia President Isaias will discuss with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries as well as regional issues of mutual importance.

Presidential entourage includes Mr. Osman Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Presidential Adviser Mr. Yemane Gebreab.
