Commendable social service rendering institutions

Residents of Sheib sub zone have become beneficiaries of various social service rendering institutions, Mr. Abubakar Ibrahim, administrator of the sub zone stated.

Massawa, 13 January 2020 – Residents of Sheib sub zone have become beneficiaries of various social service rendering institutions, Mr. Abubakar Ibrahim, administrator of the sub zone stated.

Stating that 18 schools including 7 preschools, one health center and one health station are put in place in Sheib sub zone, Mr. Abubakar said that80% of residents have become beneficiaries of potable water supply and that effort is underway with the objective of expanding the services in the New Year 2020.

Regarding electricity supply, Mr. Abubakar indicated that Sheib semi-urban center is getting continues electric power thanks to the generator installed in the area and that effort to connect the electric wires with Hirgigo Power Supply is in good progress.

Mr. Abubakar, finally, pointing out that activities are being conducted to alleviate the existed problems in Sheib sub zone and that 90% of the effort aimed at village regrouping is implemented.

Sheib sub zone comprises administrative areas of North Mensheb, Tiluk, Gedged, Kilo, Shelshela, Wekiro and Wededi.
