President Isaias laid wreath at Martyrs Monument

President Isaias Afwerki in the morning hours of today, 8 February laid wreath at the Massawa’s Tiwalet Martyrs Cemetery in commemoration of the gallant freedom fighters who paid ultimate price to liberate their people and country.

Mr. Alamin Mohammed-Seid, Secretary of the PFDJ, Gen. Flipos Woldeyohannes, Chief of Staff of the Eritrean Defense Forces, Ms. Tekea Tesfamicael, President of the National Union of Eritrean Women, Brig. Gen. Tekle Libsu, Governor of the Northern Red Sea region, and Mr. Haile Asfaha, administrator of the port city of Massawa, also laid wreath.
