The Eritrean Cycling National Team is in Kigali to participate at the Tour Du Rwanda 2020, the 2.1 UCI category cycling competition that will kick off tomorrow, 23 February.
Asmara, 22 February 2018 – The Eritrean Cycling National Team is in Kigali to participate at the Tour Du Rwanda 2020, the 2.1 UCI category cycling competition that will kick off tomorrow, 23 February.
The Eritrean Cycling National Team is composed of Cyclists, Sirak Tesfom, Henok Muluberhan, Yakob Debesay, Dawit Yemane and Natnael Tesfatsion.
Besides, Eritrean cyclists Metkel Eyob, Mekseb Debesay and Biniam Girmay will participate at the cycling tournament representing their teams.
Sixteen teams including three Rwandan cycling teams will participate at the 2020 Tour Du Rwanda, and the Eritrean Cycling National Team, the champion of 14th Amissa Bongo Cycling competition, is one of the teams to watch.
The 2020 Tour of Rwanda race comprises a total of 889kms distance. The opening Stage 1 of the race, which is due tomorrow, February 23 will cover 114.4km distance from Kigali to Arana.
Tour du Rwanda, the cycling competition organized by the Rwanda Cycling Federation is a UCI 2.1 category race.
