Water and soil conservation popular campaigns

According to report, the residents of Bada administrative area, Gelalo sub-zone, are engaged in water and soil conservation popular campaign with a view to boost agricultural production.

Asmara, 04 July 2020- According to report, the residents of Bada administrative area, Gelalo sub-zone, are engaged in water and soil conservation popular campaign with a view to boost agricultural production.

Commending the strong participation of the residents, Mr. Mahmud Ibrahim, administrative of the sub-zone, called for machinery support with a view to finalize the program before the coming of the rainfall season.
According to document from the sub-zone, in Bada administrative area there is 6 thousand hectares arable land.

In related news, the residents of Bushika administrative area, Shambuko sub-zone, in cooperation with members of the Popular Army are conducting water and soil conservation activity.

According to report from the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone, the objective of the popular campaign is to redress the environment and prepare the land for cultivation as well as boost agricultural production.
