Hamelmalo College of Agriculture graduated 422 students

Asmara, 24 October 2020 – Hamelmalo College of Agriculture conferred today, in a virtual format,1st Degrees to 222 and Diplomas to 200 graduates in Agricultural Economics, Agri. Engineering, Agronomy, Animal Science and Horticulture, Marine Technology, Plant Protection, and Animal Health.

Congratulating students and parents, the Dean of Hamelmalo College of Agriculture, Professor Weldeamlak Araia noted that as agriculture is directly related to food security it is given priority.

Pointing out that the transfer from traditional to modern agriculture is a must in enhancing agricultural production and productivity, Professor Weldeamlak said that the College is focused on nurturing human resources equipped with agricultural science.

Professor Weldeamlak, finally, called on the graduates to live up to expectations in the national development program.
