15 million Nakfa in support of families of martyrs

Barentu, 30 December 2020- The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare branch in Akordet sub-zone reported that in 2020 over 15 million Nakfa has been disbursed in support of families of martyrs.

Mr. Yemane Kiflu, head of the branch office indicated that the support has been extended to the families on regular bases four times in the year directly to the beneficiaries or through representatives.

Mr. Yemane went on to say that 10 disadvantaged families have been rehabilitated with livestock worth 10 thousand Nakfa each and financial support has been extended to members of Bidho Association.

The beneficiary families on their part expressed appreciation for the support they were provided by the people and Government.
