Eighty two patients have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19 in tests carried out today at Quarantine Centers and OPD Services in the Southern, Anseba and Central Regions.
Out of these, forty five patients are from Quarantine Centers in Enda Ghiorghis (15), Senafe (10), Adi Quala (7), Mendefera (5), Dubarwa (4), and Decamere (4) in the Southern Region; as well as, Waliku (1), Anseba Region.
The remaining thirty six patients are from OPD Services in Asmara, Central Region.
On the other hand, forty six patients who have been receiving medical treatment in hospitals in the Southern (34), and, Central (12) Regions have recovered fully and released from these facilities.
The total number of recovered patients to-date accordingly stands at 740 while the number of deaths is three.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country to-date has risen to 1445.
